Matthew Rose is an American Artist who lives and works in Paris. The title of his upcoming exhibition is “The Letters.” Over the course of several months Rose mailed the Converge Gallery 333 pieces of art from his Paris studio. This work will be the core of the exhibition. He has also requested that love letters be sent to him in care of the gallery. The love letters will be piled together as part of the show and may be taken by the gallery visitors. The concept is similar to his 2009 “A Book About Death” show in New York.
