My work is a return to this childlike, imaginary universe in which everything is possible. The viewer is invited to place themselves in these images and weave their own narratives. I create a dichotomy between the playful and the somber which I leave for the viewer to discover. The works are contrasting the fun, lighthearted treatment of the subject with images that often speak about feelings of isolation and loneliness. I studied fine art at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where I got my BFA in 2009. I’m currently living and working as a painter in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
