About the Artist

Marilyn was born and raised on High Street in Williamsport and graduated from Penn State with a BS in Art Education. She has always loved art in its many forms. She has enjoyed painting in water color, oils, acrylics and loves creating jewelry and working with polymer clay.

She has belonged to the Bald Eagle Art League almost from its beginning in the early 1970’s, taught junior/senior art a total of seven years, and for the past ten years has been a volunteer teacher (cheerleader) to an art class held each Monday afternoon at the Trout Run UM church. She has been in numerous art shows and has had several one-person shows.
